Autistic Girl Stolen from Her Father and Forcibly Drugged by the Canadian Government: The Corrupt BusinessSince being grabbed, Ayn has been placed on three different antipsychotics. She and her father are just one example of families devastated by this racket.by Heidi Stevenson23 August 2011
Ayn Van Dyk
It started with an incident that happens in homes all over—a little girl got out of her back yard and disappeared. The immediate ending was happy: Her father desperately searched for her, then phoned the police to report her missing. A couple of hours later she was found in a neighbor's yard, unharmed and playing quietly. On her return, she ran into her father's arms. But then, four days later, the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) of British Columbia, Canada, abducted her. They said it was voluntary—but it clearly wasn't. They said it was to alleviate the burden on her father—but he didn't want to be alleviated. So, she was taken forcibly. Little Ayn Van Dyk, an autistic child, a child in a loving home who requires the constancy of her family even more than most children, was ripped away from everything she knew and loved. She wasn't even given the chance to take her own toys or clothing. Ayn cried and carried on for 18 straight days, during which her father was told nothing. Finally, they called him and asked for a photo in the hope it might calm her down. It did. The fact that she was obviously traumatized by being taken from her family apparently isn't a concern to the MCFD. They still haven't returned her and apparently have no plans to do so. The story, though, gets worse. Ayn's father, Derek Hoare, does not believe in drugging his children. Ayn is autistic. Ayn is not psychotic. The MCFD is drugging her with antipsychotics! (Watch this video for a sense of what they do to children.) It's obvious that the only reason for the drugging is to keep her quiet, easy to manage. It certainly isn't for her benefit. It's been over two months. Ayn has been in a hospital for "observation" and to "stabilize" her condition—a condition created by tearing her away from home. She was then placed in a foster home. It will be at least a year before she can go back home—if ever. Who knows if she'll ever overcome the trauma? MCFD says: Our goal is always to return a child to his or her family, but only when it is safe to do so. That statement has little meaning when it takes at least a year for a parent to get through their bureaucratic maze. To regain custody of his child—custody that was taken without cause and without any sort of legal process—is in the position of having to pay out enormous sums of money to an attorney in the hope of someday regaining custody of his child. Ayn is being horribly abused in a strange environment by a governmental agency, whose interest appears to be destroying families and children's lives. Antipsychotic DruggingMCFD had previously advised Ayn's father to put her on antipsychotic drugs. These drugs have never been shown to benefit autistic children (or any others, for that matter). It may be that this is the real reason behind snatching Ayn from her home—to force her drugging. Since being stolen, Ayn has been placed on three different antipsychotics. She has even been injected with them! Ayn is being given 75 mg. of chlorpromazine (also called Thorazine and Largactil), twice a day. She is also being given risperidone (Risperdal) and quetiapine (Seroquel), two other antipsychotics, plus some sort of sleeping pill. Seroquel is unapproved for children under age 13. The antipsychotics carry horrific adverse effects, including:
And this list is not complete! Nearly all of the antipsychotics individually produce most of these effects. Imagine what combining them does. There is no legitimate reason to place any child on any of them! Yet, MCFD has taken Ayn, an autistic child who was happy in her home, away and is forcing them on her for behaviors that didn't exist at home. MCFD Fails to Report Injuries Suffered by Foster KidsBritish Columbia's MCFD has a pattern of not reporting serious incidents of harm that have come to children under their care. They are required to report all incidents of critical injuries, but Mary Ellen Turpel-Lafond of Children and Youth says that only one in three cases were reported. As is obvious from the drugs being forced on poor Ayn, drugs for which she does not even have the symptoms or diagnosis they were made for Ayn Is DeterioratingNo claims have been made that Ayn's father, Derek, was anything but a caring and loving parent. His ex-wife says that they had decided he was better able to care for their three children, two of whom are seriously autistic, and she believes that he is an excellent father. The hospital where Ayn was placed reported: We saw no bruises or evidence of physical abuse, and her body status (weight, height, vital signs) showed no evidence of neglect. However, MCFD wants Ayn to be placed in the hospital permanently! This is a child with no known physical problems. Her autism was well managed by her father. When she had problems with outbursts in school, he was contacted and would calm her down. Ayn did not wet the bed before she was grabbed. Now she does. She was comfortable and happy in her environment before her abduction. Now, she carries her father's picture with her everywhere for comfort—and has none of her normal toys and clothing with her. Ayn's behavior was manageable before being kidnapped. Now, her tormenters are giving her immensely dangerous drugs to keep her quiet. It appears that, at best, it will be another ten months before there's any chance of Ayn's return to her home. By then, how much harm will have been done? Who Benefits from Ayn's Abduction?Obviously, Ayn herself does not benefit from being ripped from her home. Her father and brothers miss her terribly; they certainly don't benefit. The people of Canada are not being protected in any way, so they aren't benefitting. There are two beneficiaries. Big Pharma, which pushes the poisons Ayn's being forced to take, profits. And MCFD? Stealing her from her home justifies their existence. Ayn becomes one more child who adds to the number in their system. By abducting Ayn from her home, MCFD is creating an apparent need for their services. The more children they take, the more MCFD appears to be needed. The more they're "needed", the more power they gain. By drugging Ayn, they make her easy to manage. They do this at tremendous risk to her health, and enormous damage to her future. The simple fact is that agencies taking children from their families have a vested interest in doing so. They have been acting without controls for their own benefit.
